Schema
The demo site itself does not include a visible JSON-LD block; this case-study page carries Article, Organization, and Service schema, and a production café build would add LocalBusiness and menu detail.
Showcase Build · Hove
A textured hospitality build shaped around menus, visits, events, and a very clear sense of welcome.

This is a fictional brand we built end-to-end as a showcase. The build is real; the company is not.
Background
The imagined brief was a Hove café where dogs are not an afterthought. The business needed to hold two audiences at once: humans looking for brunch, coffee, and a friendly table, and dog owners checking whether the space genuinely works for their routine.
We built the page like a neighbourhood bistro noticeboard: a generous hero, menu tabs, story section, gallery, perks, events, owner testimonials, and practical find-us information, with enough personality to make the brand memorable without hiding the basics.
Build
The visual system leans into warm paper, bistro green, terracotta, butter yellow, and cocoa. Fraunces gives the headings a friendly restaurant feel, Inter Tight keeps menu items compact, and Caveat adds light handwritten notes. A subtle grain and soft radial shadows make the page feel printed rather than templated.
The demo uses a broader motion vocabulary than the main studio site would: smooth scrolling, parallax image movement, a ticker marquee, line-by-line hero reveal, steam effects, and a paw-cursor treatment on fine pointers. The important production lesson is restraint by context; the motion supports the dog-friendly bistro idea and drops away for touch devices.
Structurally, the page is built for decisions before arrival. Menu tabs separate drinks, brekkie, brunch, lunch, pups, and sweet treats; event cards create a reason to return; gallery captions add local texture; and the contact section makes opening hours and visit information visible without sending people hunting.
